Refund policy

Every Hi-tek Pets certificate is made to order and delivered digitally. Because each certificate is personalized with your pet's name and details and delivered as an instant download, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds or exchanges once your certificate has been delivered.

We know that's a firm position, so we back it with something better than a refund: a guarantee that mistakes never cost you anything.

The Typo-Proof Guarantee

If you spot a typo or an error in your certificate, we will re-issue it free of charge within 30 days of your purchase. No questions, no fee, no limit on how careful you want to be about getting your pet's name exactly right.

To request a correction, reply to your delivery email or write to contact@hitekpets.com with:

  • your order number or registry record number (it looks like HTP-2026-00042), and
  • the correction you'd like made.

We'll issue a corrected certificate, usually the same day. Your registry record number stays the same — a correction doesn't create a new record.

The Typo-Proof Guarantee covers spelling, dates, names, and any detail you entered during personalization. It does not cover a change of mind about the design or wording style after delivery, though we'll always try to help where we reasonably can.

When we do issue a refund

We will refund you in full in these situations:

  • Your certificate never arrived and we're unable to deliver it to you after a reasonable attempt.
  • You were charged more than once for the same certificate.
  • A technical fault on our side prevents us from producing your certificate at all.
  • You were charged for something you didn't order.

To request a refund on any of these grounds, contact us at contact@hitekpets.com within 30 days of your purchase. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Before you dispute a charge

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at contact@hitekpets.com. We answer quickly and we would much rather fix the problem than have you open a dispute with your bank. Nearly everything is solvable the same day.

Customers in the United Kingdom and European Union

Digital content that is delivered immediately is treated differently from physical goods under UK and EU consumer law. By completing your purchase and downloading your certificate, you expressly request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. This is standard for instant-download digital products, and it does not affect your rights if the content we deliver is faulty or not as described.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country or state that cannot legally be excluded.
